The blue boy

This young boy standing there
Standing alone not standing tall
The world is too big for him
The blue boy is much too small

Hiding in amongst the crowd
No one hears his quiet cry
Nobody sees his sad face
The blue boy’s in lost space

He tries so hard to understand
But nothing seems so clear
Searching for all the answers
The blue boy may not want to hear

Don’t ever close your palm
His small hand is reaching out
Don’t let the blue boy ever
Forget what his life is about.
